| Item | Why | Retention |
|---|---|---|
| Nickname | Naming you in the game | Until you delete the account |
| Email address | Identifying the account so you can log back in | Until you delete the account |
| Password hash | Letting you log in without us ever holding the password | Until you delete the account |
| Sign-up date | Support and abuse handling | Until you delete the account |
| Google account identifier | Only if you chose to sign in with Google, so we recognise you next time | Until you delete the account |
That table is the lot. We do not ask your legal name, your address, your date of birth or a phone number, and card details are never asked for, because nothing here is sold. Your password is held only as a hash that cannot be reversed. Everything is kept to give you the account you asked for and for no other reason. Pressing delete on your account page clears every row of it in one go.
| Item | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|
| Coin balance, level, missions, game settings | Continuing your game | Until you clear browser data |
| Age confirmation | Not asking again on every page | Until you clear browser data |
| Cookie choice | Remembering your consent | Until you clear browser data |
All of that stays on the device you are using. None of it is passed to us.
Google sign-in is one option of two, and the email form does the same job. Pick Google and you are sent there to approve the request; Google then returns three things: a permanent identifier for your Google account, your email address, and your first name, which we suggest as a nickname. We ask for nothing beyond those: no contacts, no calendar, no Drive, no profile photo and no permission to act in your place. Your Google password never comes to us. What Google does at its own end is set out in Google's privacy policy.
We keep the identifier, the email address and the nickname you confirm. That is all. Deleting your account deletes the three of them straight away. You can also take our access back at any time, under "Third-party apps with account access" in your Google account; the games are unaffected and you sign in with an email address and a password instead. No Google script runs on these pages, so nothing reaches Google unless you press the button. Lawful basis: performance of a contract.
Choose "Accept all" and Google Analytics and Google Ads tags measure visits and whether an advert ended with somebody playing, a first spin for example. Google receives your IP address, details of the device and those events. Choose "Essential only" and the tags run in consent mode: no cookies, no advertising identifiers. Lawful basis: consent.
Our host keeps ordinary web-server request logs for a short time, for security. Basis: legitimate interests.
At any time you can see what is held, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how it is used, and withdraw consent. Deleting the account clears the account records straight away; clearing this site's data in your browser removes the remainder. You can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.
Tidal Neon is for adults of 19 and over. The coins are virtual, worth no money at all, and cannot be bought, sold, withdrawn or exchanged. Nothing is for sale here, no prize carries real value, and being good at this tells you nothing about real-money gambling.
